Background and Experience

Reverend Eloise Page of Cassadaga, Florida was one of my main spiritual teachers. I am indebted to her for teaching me, not only in her classes on Natural Law, but by example.

My shamanic training focused on the work presented by the Foundation for Shamanic Studies, which was founded by Michael Harner, author of The Way of the Shaman. My ongoing studies with Sandra Ingerman through the Foundation for Shamanic Studies began in the 1990s with training in Soul Retrieval and Extraction, and Death and Dying. In September 2000, I participated in her first and second workshops on Healing Ourselves and the Earth Through Transmutation, work that is described in her book Medicine for the Earth. In the fall of 2010, Sandra Ingerman invited a group of shamanic practitioners to join her to work together in community on an ongoing basis. We are spread out over three continents and connect through conference calls and a yahoo group, reunions and a website. After focusing on offering shamanic healing since the mid 1990s, I began teaching shamanic journeying and more advanced techniques over 12 years ago.

I also studied with Native American teachers Beautiful Painted Arrow (Joseph Rael) and Oh Shinnáh.

I trained in other healing modalities such as the Neuro-Emotional Technique (NET and NEAT), which was developed by chiropractors in the 1980s. NET is used to uncover the emotional components
of pain. NEAT is used to uncover incongruencies in our attitudes.

In 2011, I completed my training as Reiki Master Teacher under Joana Shinkara Morris.
